Manage, import, and organize your contacts in Growth IQ CRM—track interactions, run campaigns, and streamline communication from one central location.
n GrowthIQ's CRM, you can easily manage all your contacts. You'll learn how to create, update, import, and export contact records, as well as associate them with opportunities. From there, you can take actions like adding contacts to lists, campaigns, or automated workflows.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. View and Manage Contacts
- Go to CRM → Contacts.
- Search or filter records.
- Click a contact to: edit details, view activity history, manage related tasks and opportunities, or assign to another team member.
2. Import Contacts
- Navigate to CRM → Contacts → Import.
- Upload CSV and map fields.
- Choose whether to update existing matches.
3. Create Individual Contacts
- Go to CRM → Create Contact.
- Enter info and optional tags.
- ⚠️ Note: Updating existing contacts will overwrite mapped fields.
4. Export Contacts
- Select contacts → Actions → Export → CSV.
- Only contacts in current filters/table view are exported.
5. Start, Pause, or Resume Campaigns
- Open a contact → Campaigns → three-dot menu → schedule, pause, or resume campaigns.
6. Add Contacts to Lists or Automations
- Select one or more contacts → Actions → Add to List → choose list.
7. Send Bulk SMS or Email to Clients
- Select one or more contacts → Filter → Actions → More Actions → Send SMS Via Conversations or Send Email to contacts.
- You can also create a campaign first and choose "Add to campaign" from actions.

8. Log Activity and Create Tasks
- Inside a contact profile → Activity → log Notes, Emails, Calls, Messages, Meetings, and assign contacts to owners.
- Click + Task to create a new task linked to the contact and any related opportunity.

Q: Will importing a CSV overwrite existing data?
A: Only if "Update existing matches" is selected.
Q: Can I create custom fields?
A: Yes, Growth IQ supports default and custom fields.
Q: Can I bulk add contacts to a list?
A: Yes, via Actions → Add to List.
