1. Overview
The Campaigns feature in Growth IQ helps you create, automate, and track your email marketing efforts — all in one place. With it, you can send targeted messages to specific audiences, nurture leads over time, and keep your customers engaged without needing multiple tools.

- Build and automate multi-step email campaigns.
- Personalize content using dynamic merge fields.
- Send campaigns to targeted contact lists or to all contacts.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics: sends, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes.

2. Step-by-Step: Creating a Campaign
Step 1: Access Campaigns
- Navigate to the Campaigns section from the Growth IQ dashboard.
- The Campaigns dashboard displays options to create new campaigns and build multi-step campaigns.
Step 2: Create a Campaign
- Click Create Campaign.
- Select a template or choose Start from Blank.
- Enter a campaign name and optional internal description.
Step 3: Build the Email Sequence
- Use the campaign builder to design your email flow:
- Add email steps using templates or content blocks.
- Insert delays to control send timing.
- Apply branching logic for conditional flows based on engagement or contact attributes.
- Include dynamic merge fields for personalization (e.g., contact name, company name).
- Click Preview to verify the sequence and content.
Step 4: Define the Audience
- Click the "add recipients" button to select target contacts or lists.
- Lists can be imported or built from CRM → Lists (static or smart).
- Apply filters to refine the audience as required.
- Confirm the audience selection before publishing.
Step 5: Review and Publish
- Review email content, delays, and audience configuration.
- Use Preview as Contact to verify merge fields, links, and formatting.
- Click Publish Campaign to activate the sequence.
- Growth IQ will automatically send emails based on configured steps and delays.

Step 1: Create the Automation
- Go to Automations in the Growth IQ platform.
- Click Create Automation (or open an existing one).
- Add a Trigger: Select Triggered Manually for a Contact. This allows you to manually start the automation from a list later.
Step 2: Add the SMS Message
- Add a new step: SMS Message.
- Enter the text you want to send. Example: "Hi, this is Jen. How are you?"
- (Optional) Add dynamic content such as the contact's first name:
- Click Dynamic Content
- Choose From previous step → Trigger → Contact ID
- Search for and select First Name
- The field will be inserted automatically (e.g., Hi )
- Click Save.
Step 3: Turn On the Automation
- Set Run only once per contact to prevent duplicate messages.
- Turn ON the automation.
Step 4: Send the SMS to a Contact List
- Navigate to CRM → Lists.
- Find the list you want to message.
- Click the three dots on the right side of the list.
- Select Start Automation.
- Choose the workflow you created.
- Click Start → The text message will be sent to all contacts in that list.
Step 5: Editing the Workflow (Optional)
- Return to Automations and open your workflow.
- Turn OFF the automation before making changes.
- Wait until it finishes draining (ensuring no contacts are currently in the workflow).
- Add or modify steps such as additional SMS messages, email steps, or delay steps.
- Save your changes, then turn the automation ON again.
5. Delivery and Testing
- Confirm merge fields and formatting by using Preview as Contact.
- Validate all links and call-to-action buttons prior to publishing.
- Review email logs in Administration → Email History to troubleshoot delivery issues.
• Workflows begin running immediately once triggered unless a delay or future start date is configured.
• Use delays or scheduling if you want messages to go out on a specific date or time.
• Always turn off an active workflow before editing to avoid sending unintended messages.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many emails can I send per month?
A: By default, up to 10,000 emails. Additional capacity may be available.
Q: Can I add contacts to an active campaign?
A: Yes. Eligible contacts or lists added mid-campaign will start at the beginning of the sequence.
Q: How do I preview a campaign as a contact?
A: In the campaign builder, click Preview and select a contact.
Q: How do I change the From name or sender email?
A: Navigate to Administration → Email Settings to configure sender details.
Q: Why can't I create campaigns yet?
A: Campaigns may need to be enabled for your account by an administrator — contact support!
Q: Can campaigns be triggered from form submissions?
A: Yes. Use automation: When a form is submitted → Add contact to campaign.
